Our 16 or 24-hour Thai Reflexology Massage training classes are another wonderful extra Thai treatment to be able to be offer your clients. This hands-on course focuses on Traditional Thai techniques for working on the hands and feet to balance and treat the whole body.

The
Thai Reflexology Massage incorporates Acupressure Reflexology- Marma
points/Energy Work;
Hot/Cold Herbal Compress treatments; and neck, shoulders,
face and
head Acu-pressure Massage. The fusion of these
massage techniques works on the muscular, nervous, circulatory,
endocrine and lymphatic
systems to ease tension, improve blood/lymph circulation, remove
toxins, and balance energy/ki or
life force to improve overall health. This treatment specifically
addresses the sen lines and marma points in the feet, hands, neck, face and head to
promote
balance throughout the entire body.

Participants will first learn a Thai Reflexology treatment for the feet and hands, including the use of stones and/or herbal packs. This unique reflexology massage routine will add an Eastern flavor to your regular massage, and will increase your repertoire of techniques to offer your clients. This work is great for relaxing and balancing the body and all of its systems.
Step-by-step instruction of Thai Protocols and Massage sequences on the feet
Energy work and basic information about acupressure/marma points and how to work with them
Class will have hands-on demonstrations and hands-on practice.

In the full 6 month course you will take ten Thai Bodywork intensive levels, from the introductory Thai Yoga level to the basic and more advanced levels to gradually accumulate over 220 hours of study and practice of the ancient art of Thai Massage.

NOTE:
With the exception of Pain Management, all of the above classes are open to all with no pre-requisites.
Pain Management requires Thai Levels I, II & III.
There are no pre-requisites for Thai Level I, and students are accepted without any prior bodywork training.
